Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Domino's Pizza LIMITIED/RARE Edition
£6000
For sale is a highly collectible and ultra-rare Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch "Domino's Pizza" Special Edition (Ref. 310.30.42.50.01.001).
This is the legendary Moonwatch — the first watch on the Moon — updated with the modern Master Chronometer Caliber 3861 (hand-wound, anti-magnetic to 15,000 gauss, METAS certified, 50-hour power reserve).
These special pieces were customised by Omega as prestigious performance awards for top Domino's Pizza franchise holders (replacing previous Rolex awards in some regions). They feature a unique 18k white gold Domino's Pizza logo applied to the bracelet — a detail not found on standard production models, making this far scarcer and more desirable for collectors!
This watch was acquired on the grey market / parallel import (sourced outside official Omega authorised dealer channels, as these were never intended for general retail sale). It comes with full original Omega box, papers, warranty card, and is 100% authentic Omega.
Key Features:
- Iconic black dial with white luminous indexes and hands
- Aluminium tachymeter bezel
- Classic 3-register chronograph layout
- Hesalite crystal for that authentic vintage Moonwatch feel
- Exhibition sapphire caseback showcasing the decorated Cal. 3861 movement
- Full set including all original accessories
The watch is in outstanding condition — unworn. A true collector piece for Omega enthusiasts, Speedmaster collectors, or anyone who loves quirky branded editions tied to real-world stories!
This variant is extremely limited and rarely appears on the market — a fantastic opportunity!
The Omega Speedmaster Professional, affectionately known as the "Moonwatch," has an unparalleled legacy in space exploration. Introduced in 1957 as a racing chronograph, it was rigorously tested by NASA in 1964-1965 alongside competitors, emerging as the sole survivor of extreme conditions—including high/low temperatures, vacuum, vibration, and shock—earning official qualification on March 1, 1965, as "flight-qualified for all manned space missions and extravehicular activity (EVA)." Worn on every NASA piloted mission since Gemini, its defining moment came during Apollo 11 in July 1969: while Neil Armstrong left his inside the lunar module, Buzz Aldrin wore his Speedmaster on the moon's surface, making it the first (and only) watch ever worn on the Moon. This modern reference 310.30.42.50.01.001 faithfully continues that iconic heritage with updated Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement, hesalite crystal, and design details echoing the original—own a true piece of history.
